📌 Step 1: Create a New Simple Product​

  1. Navigate to Products & Inventory ➔ Select Product List (path /products).
  2. Click the + Add New Product button.
  3. Enter basic information:
    • Product Name: Full descriptive title (e.g., Pro 5 Wireless Bluetooth Earphones).
    • SKU Code: Unique product identifier (e.g., TN-PRO5-BLK). Leave blank to auto-generate.
    • Barcode: Scan the barcode printed on product packaging for POS laser scanning.
    • Category: Assign to a category (Electronics, Fashion, Home & Living...).
    • Product Image: Upload high-res images for POS screens, Chat sidepanel, and print receipts.
  4. Set pricing and packaging dimensions:
    • Retail Price: Standard selling price for end customers.
    • Wholesale Price: Price tier for distributors or bulk purchasers.
    • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Purchase/manufacturing cost used to calculate gross profit on P&L reports.
    • Weight (Grams) & Dimensions (L x W x H cm): Vital for real-time shipping carrier API rate calculations.
  5. Click Save Product.

📌 Step 2: Create Multi-Variant Products (Color / Size)​

Ideal for fashion, footwear, cosmetics, and items with multiple specifications:

  1. In the product creation screen, check Product has multiple variants.
  2. Add variant attributes:
    • Attribute 1: Color ➔ Enter values: White, Black, Navy Blue.
    • Attribute 2: Size ➔ Enter values: S, M, L, XL.
  3. The system generates a variant matrix automatically (e.g., White - S, White - M, Black - S...).
  4. Assign distinct SKU codes, barcodes, prices, and images to each specific variant.
  5. Click Save Product.

📌 Step 3: Configure Combo Packs & Bundles (Product Bundles)​

Combo bundles increase Average Order Value (AOV) without disrupting inventory integrity:

  1. Click + Add Combo Bundle.
  2. Enter Combo Name (e.g., Combo 2x Polo Shirts + 1x Shorts).
  3. Set Combo Selling Price (typically discounted to incentivize higher volume).
  4. Add Component Items:
    • Select Polo Shirt (Quantity: 2).
    • Select Shorts (Quantity: 1).
  5. Automated Stock Deduction: Selling 1 unit of this combo automatically deducts 2 Polo Shirts and 1 Shorts from warehouse stock.

📌 Step 4: Configure Minimum Safety Stock Alerts​

  1. In product details, enter the Safety Stock Threshold (Min Stock) (e.g., 10 units).
  2. When available inventory drops below this threshold, a yellow Low Stock Alert is highlighted on the dashboard to prompt replenishment.

Pro Tips for Inventory Accuracy
  • Always Specify Weight in Grams: If an item weighs 350g, enter 350. Inaccurate weights lead to carrier shipping surcharges or miscalculated delivery fees.
  • Scan Barcodes with Hardware: Use a USB/Bluetooth scanner directly into the Barcode input to avoid typing errors.
