Guide to Shipping Carrier Integration & Automated Order Push

🚀 2. Carrier Integration Setup (Step-by-Step)​

📌 Step 1: Obtain API Credentials from Carrier Portal​

Before connecting on MaxSeller, retrieve API credentials from your carrier business portal:

  • Flash Express: Log into Flash Express Business Portal ➔ Go to Integration / API Settings ➔ Copy API Key and Merchant ID.
  • Kerry Express / J&T Express: Contact your assigned carrier account manager to receive Customer Code and API Key.
  • Other Carriers: Retrieve API tokens from respective partner developer portals.

📌 Step 2: Configure Connection in MaxSeller​

  1. Go to Settings ➔ Select Shipping Connections (path /shipping/connections).
  2. Click + Add New Carrier Connection.
  3. Select carrier logo (e.g., Flash Express or J&T Express).
  4. Enter connection details:
    • Connection Name: Memorable label (e.g., Flash Express - Main Hub, J&T Discount Plan).
    • API Token / Customer Code: Paste credentials from Step 1.
    • Assigned Pickup Warehouse: Choose the MaxSeller warehouse where couriers collect packages.
  5. Configure default shipping rules:
    • Payer: Sender (Store pays freight) or Recipient (Customer pays freight).
    • Inspection Policy:
      • Allow inspection, no trial (Recommended for e-commerce).
      • Allow trial.
      • No inspection allowed.
    • Cargo Insurance: Enable for 100% loss/damage protection.
    • Default Note: (e.g., "Fragile goods. Please call recipient before delivery").
  6. Click Test Connection & Save. When status shows green Active, integration is complete.

📌 Step 3: Push Orders & Obtain Tracking Codes​

During POS or chat order creation:

  1. In the Shipping section, select the connected carrier. Weight and dimensions are transmitted to calculate exact freight charges.
  2. Click Push to Carrier:
    • The parcel is generated on the carrier's server.
    • The Tracking Code is attached to the MaxSeller order.
    • Status transitions to Pushed to Carrier / Pending Pickup.

📌 Step 4: Batch Print Shipping Labels​

  1. Navigate to Sales ➔ Select Order List.
  2. Check orders ready for packaging and dispatch.
  3. Click Print Shipping Labels:
    • Supports standard carrier labels (A6/A7) or MaxSeller thermal K80 formats.
    • Barcodes/QR codes enable 1-second scanning upon driver handover.
